Prof. Nirmala RAO, PhD, FHKPS, FBPS, C.Psychol., Serena H.C. Yang Professor in Early Childhood Development and Education & Chair Professor of Child Development and Education, Faculty of Education, The University of Hong Kong. She has published widely, is an Associate Editor of Child Development and was a member of the Steering Committee for the 2017 Lancet Series on Early Child Development. Professor Rao has participated in international meetings as an expert/specialist and has undertaken consultancies for UNICEF, UNESCO, WHO, the World Bank, and DFID and has advised governments. Professor RAO is also actively involved in professional organisations that aim to promote the well-being of children. In addition, she has had significant administrative leadership roles at The University of Hong Kong including Dean of the Faculty of Education and Dean of the Graduate School.
Prof. Terry AU, PhD, FHKPS, Associate Professor at Brown University and Professor at UCLA, and is currently Chair Professor of Psychology and holds the Karen Lo Eugene Chuang Professorship in Diversity and Equity at the University of Hong Kong. Professor AU is an elected Fellow of the Association of Psychological Science and has served as Associate Editor of the journal Developmental Psychology, and research grant panel member for NIMH, NIH, and the Research Grants Council of Hong Kong.
Prof. Daniel SHEK, PhD, FHKPS, BBS, SBS, JP, Associate Vice President (Undergraduate Programme), Chair Professor of Applied Social Sciences, and Li and Fung Professor in Service Leadership Education at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University as well as Changjiang Scholar (Chiangjiang Chair Professor). He has developed two positive youth development (PYD) programs in Hong Kong (P.A.T.H.S. Project) and mainland China (Tin Ka Ping P.A.T.H.S. Project) and published extensively in PYD.
