Ms. CHAN Kwan Yee Kirby was found to have contravened various sections of the Code of Professional Conduct of HKPS while she was a Graduate Member of HKPS in 2013. The Discipline Board's findings and recommendations that Ms. CHAN Kwan Yee Kirby be expelled from HKPS were endorsed by the Council of HKPS on 7th March 2016.

Dr. Alexander Lo Che-wah was found to have contravened 1.9(b) of the Code of Professional Conduct of HKPS - "Members endeavour to maintain high standards of competence in their work. They provide services to clients only within the boundaries of their competence, based on their education, training, supervised experience and practice." He was expelled from the Society on 14 February 2011.

A former HKPS member was found to have contravened various sections of the Code of Professional Conduct of HKPS in two separate complaint cases while she was a Registered Psychologist of HKPS in 2021. Two Disciplinary Boards were formed to investigate the complaints independently. The two Discipline Boards' findings and recommendations that her membership be suspended for up to seven years were endorsed by the Council of HKPS on 19 March 2023.
