The University is seeking to hire a full-time Professor/Associate Professor/Assistant Professor in Health Policy, Health Studies and Well-being / Care Management. Candidates should demonstrate interdisciplinary scholarship in one or more of the following areas: (1) Global or Public Health Policy Analysis; (2) Health Psychology; and (3) Health Care Management. A strong interest in any of the following will be an advantage: (1) health and well-being for adolescence; (2) promotion of healthy living for senior citizens; (3) global health disparities; and (4) digital health.
The appointee will join the School of Graduate Studies (https://www.ln.edu.hk/sgs/) and the Faculty of Social Science (https://www.ln.edu.hk/socsc/) and will be expected to publish high-quality research, teaching courses at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels, and participate in academic and professional activities. The appointee is also expected to apply for external funding to support research endeavors.
General Requirements
Candidates should have a PhD degree in the relevant discipline. For appointment as Professor, candidates should have a distinguished record of publications in leading journals and academic achievements, and experience in academic administration. For appointment as Associate Professor, candidates should have at least five years of relevant experience and a sound track record in research and scholarly activities. For appointment as Assistant Professor, candidates should have relevant teaching experience, a good research record and must demonstrate good potential in publishing high quality papers.

A strong interest in any of the following will be an advantage: (1) school/child counselling; (2) mental wellbeing in youths; (3) special education; and (4) developmental disabilities.
The appointee will join the Faculty of Social Science (https://www.ln.edu.hk/socsc/) and will be expected to assist development of a child counsellor training programme, develop and teach courses at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels, publish high-quality research, apply for competitive external funding, engage in administrative duties, provide leadership and mentorship roles, as well as participate in academic and professional activities.
