Brief content:	ADI-R (Autism Diagnostic Interview-Revised) introductory training is a 2-day workshop for clinicians and researchers, teaching them to administer and code this “gold standard” diagnostic tool. It covers behavioral assessment in communication, social interaction, and restricted interests, often utilizing videos and/or live interviews. Key Aspects of ADI-R Introductory Training: Target Audience: Psychologists, pediatricians, psychiatrists, and speech-language pathologists with prior experience in autism. Format: Training typically involves lectures, case study videos, and sometimes demonstrations or live assessments. Content: Focuses on the administration, scoring, and interpretation of the ADI-R. It includes training on how to properly interview parents or caregivers, usually for children or young people. Prerequisites: A background in developmental disorders is generally required. Materials: Access to an ADIR manual is recommended for training. Outcome: Participants learn to use the ADI-R for diagnostic or clinical purposes.
