Emotionally Focused Individual Therapy (EFIT) integrates the attachment-based roadmap of EFT to help organize clients’ emotional experiences. Through this process, therapists can explore and disrupt clients’ internal negative cycles, reshape their internal working models, and ultimately influence both their internal experiences and external behavioral strategies—leading to meaningful and positive change.
